Yes you read it right! ‘Hood Nerds”!

The “Hood Nerd Movement” was founded by 4 teenage friends who share the same passion for fashion, music and dance. But that is not the only thing they have in common.

Living in the inner city and facing life issues that are not always pleasant for us. The girls have supported each other through thick and thin and decided they wanted to build something together. Together they created the name, asked their Mom’s for help designed their mission statement and proceeded to market themselves whenever they walked out the door. You won’t miss them at local community events, the mall or even just a simple bus ride. Their signature “Cereal Box” backpacks, vibrant bandanas, ensembles of bright outlandish colors and of course the many styles of glasses with no lenses has gained attention online and in the streets.

About the Founders

Nerdy Star, Nerdy Nu and Nerdy Smartz have made a commitment to execute their mission and gain attention worldwide to inspire other youth their age to focus on the importance of education, positive things in life and creating a positive impact in their communities. The Hood Nerd Movement offers a community service piece in which Hood Nerd Founders and members dedicate their time to local schools and nonprofit organizations in any way requested that they are capable of accomplishing. The mission of the “Hood Nerds” is as follows:

To gain Hood Nerd Members to impact positive change in communities all over the world through, dance, fashion and Music, to prove to the media and social standards set for youth that WE “United” can be smart, get good grades , wear the hottest swag “That we earned”, never go to jail, serve our community, continue on to college and still live in the HOOD of OUR Communities!

The Hood Nerd Youth Inc. has worked very hard to become an official incorporated Company. The Teens have received their state documents and state seal and are now working towards doing as much as they can in their community. We need your support in their efforts to continue their work in the community.
